Hi there! It was the Lidder that stirred the hornet’s nest. It’s where the trail began and my yearning for the outdoors. The years since have led to different places, never with any fixed plans or itineraries but open-ended days taking shape of their own accord. In the process, I have learnt new things, shed some baggage, stared hard at my bank balance and tried desperately to write. This blog is about those moments that managed to make their way to the virtual paper – about people, places, food and history. This is not a conventional travel blog. You are unlikely to find many listicles here or spelled out itineraries. Instead, you might find stories about local food, indigenous tribes, books that take you places and places that open new vistas. Come along.
